Questions? We've got answers.

Common questions about VEGA verification. Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us.

What is VEGA?

VEGA is a Swiss verification service for traders. We audit 12+ months of real trading history and issue blockchain-secured certificates. Think of us as TÜV for traders – independent, rigorous, permanent proof.

Why does VEGA exist?

98% of trading educators can't prove their results. We created VEGA to separate real performers from fake gurus. If you're legitimate, prove it. If you're not, you won't pass.

Why Switzerland?

Swiss precision. Swiss data protection (FADP + GDPR). Swiss neutrality. Your trading data is protected by some of the strongest privacy laws in the world.

Is VEGA a financial regulator?

No. VEGA is an independent verification service, not a regulatory body. We verify trading performance – we don't regulate, license, or provide financial advice.

Why blockchain?

Permanence. Your verification is timestamped on Solana blockchain and exists forever – even if VEGA disappears. No one can fake, edit, or delete it. Proof that lasts.

Who is behind VEGA?

VEGA is operated by VEGA Verified, registered in Zürich, Switzerland. Founded by traders who were tired of an industry full of unverifiable claims.

What do I need to apply?

To apply, you need:

  • 12-month trading statements (PDF)
  • Trade history export (CSV format)
  • Wire transfer proof (inbound/outbound)
  • Valid ID for KYC verification

Real account with a regulated broker required. No demo accounts.

What if I don't have 12 months of history?

You need at least 12 months of real account trading history to apply. No exceptions. Merit-based means merit-based.

Do you accept demo accounts?

No. Only real accounts with real money are accepted. Demo accounts are automatically detected and rejected.

What brokers do you accept?

Most major regulated brokers: Interactive Brokers, OANDA, IC Markets, Pepperstone, XM, and 20+ more. Unregulated brokers may be rejected.

What markets can I trade?

All markets: Forex, stocks, crypto, options, futures. We verify performance across any tradeable asset class.

How long does verification take?

2-4 weeks typically. You'll receive email updates: Application Received → KYC Complete → Audit Started → Verification Complete.

What exactly do you verify?

We verify: (1) Account is real (not demo), (2) Statements are authentic (not edited), (3) 12+ months history exists, (4) Performance metrics are accurate. We calculate win rate, Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, and profit factor.

What do I get when verified?

Digital badge, blockchain certificate, public profile on vegaverified.com, physical verification card, and VEGA follows you on IG and X – a public signal that you're legitimate.

What happens if I'm rejected?

Full refund. We reject ~30% of applications (demo accounts, inconsistent data, fraud flags). You'll receive detailed reasons and guidance on reapplication.

Can I reapply after rejection?

Depends on the reason. Demo account → reapply with real account. Insufficient history → wait until you have 12 months. Fake documents → permanent ban.

How do I apply?

Click "Apply Now" on vegaverified.com. Complete the 5-minute application. We review within 48 hours and contact you with next steps and pricing details.

What's the difference between Alpha and Standard?

Same verification process. The difference is your ID number. Alpha buyers get a lifetime low ID (#A021–A079) marking them as early adopters. Only 59 spots available. Standard buyers get a General ID (V301+). Price difference reflects the permanent early adopter status.

What does "VEGA Verified" mean?

It means the trader has passed a rigorous 12-month audit. Their trading performance is real, documented, and blockchain-secured. They're not faking their results.

How do I check if a trader is verified?

Visit our public registry at vegaverified.com/registry or scan the QR code on their verification card. You can also check the blockchain certificate directly. On Instagram and X, we only follow verified traders – if VEGA follows them, they're verified.

Does verified mean I'll make money with them?

No. VEGA verifies trading performance, not teaching ability. A verified trader proved they can trade profitably – not that they can teach you to do the same. Trading always involves risk.

What's the difference between verified trader and trading coach?

Verification confirms one thing: real trading results over 12 months. Coaching skills and course quality are separate factors. Use VEGA verification to confirm performance, then evaluate their teaching style to find the right fit for you.

Should I only follow verified traders?

It's a strong filter. Verified traders have proven they can actually trade. Unverified traders might be legitimate – or might be faking everything. Verification removes the guesswork.

What if my favorite trader isn't verified?

Ask them why. If they're legitimate, they should welcome verification. If they refuse or make excuses, that tells you something. Real traders prove it.

Can I request a trader to get verified?

Yes. Tell them about VEGA. If they're confident in their track record, they'll apply. If they avoid it, consider why they're hiding from verification.

Does VEGA guarantee the trader won't lose money in the future?

No. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results. VEGA verifies historical performance only. Markets change, strategies fail, losses happen. Always manage your own risk.

Is my trading data private?

Yes. Your trading statements are encrypted and never shared. We only publish two things: the market you trade (Forex, Crypto, etc.) and whether you're profitable. That's it. No win rate, no Sharpe ratio, no individual trades. Your strategy stays completely private.

Can anyone see my trading strategy?

No. We never publish individual trades, entry/exit prices, position sizes, or strategy details. Your edge stays yours. Only aggregate performance metrics are made public.

What laws protect my data?

Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP) and EU GDPR. Switzerland has some of the strongest privacy laws in the world – stronger than US and most other countries.

What if VEGA gets hacked?

All sensitive data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Decryption keys are stored in offline hardware security modules (HSM). Even if breached, encrypted data is useless without the keys.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. GDPR right to be forgotten applies. We'll delete your personal data upon request. Note: Blockchain timestamps cannot be deleted (they contain only aggregate stats, no personal info).

What if I disagree with my audit results?

Request a second review. A senior auditor will re-examine your case with any additional evidence you provide. Decision within 5 business days. If still unsatisfied, escalate to hello@vegaverified.com.

Can I lose my verification?

Only for post-verification fraud: using fake badges, scamming students, or misrepresenting your verification status. Performance changes don't affect your verification – it's a historical snapshot.

What if VEGA shuts down?

Your blockchain certificate survives forever on Solana. It's independent of VEGA's existence. Even if we disappear, your proof remains publicly verifiable.

Do you sell my data?

Never. Our business model is verification fees, not data monetization. We will never sell, share, or monetize your personal or trading data to third parties.

What's your refund policy?

Full refund if rejected during audit (demo detected, fake documents, authentication failure). No refund for change of mind, failure to submit documents, or policy violations. Refunds processed within 5-7 business days.
